For solo operators and founder-led businesses
Everything good in the business still runs through one person, and that person is tired.
You are not buying organizational change. You are buying your week back.
The founder is the bottleneck, and everyone knows it
Not because anything is wrong. Because the business was built on one person’s judgment, and that judgment never got written down anywhere the rest of the business could reach it.
So every question routes back to you. Work waits while you are in a meeting. Nobody can answer a client the way you would answer them, because the way you would answer them exists only in your head.
That is a capture problem before it is a technology problem.
What is a business brain?
A structured, reusable version of what you know. Your voice and standards, how you make decisions, how the work is supposed to be done, and what good looks like when it is finished.
Once that exists, AI has something worth working from. Answers come back in your voice and to your standard, rather than as the average of everything on the internet. That is also the first thing you build that a competitor cannot copy, because it is made of your judgment rather than a tool anyone can buy.
Take what lives in one head
and make the business teachable.
What actually gets built
The work is genuinely custom, so this is the shape of it rather than a menu. Most engagements move through some version of these three, in this order.
- 01CaptureVoice and messaging, decision frameworks, core process documentation, folder architecture. The outcome is that the business becomes teachable.
- 02BuildCustom assistants, skills, and connectors wired into the software you already run, so captured knowledge executes instead of sitting in a folder.
- 03AutomateMap where the week actually goes, then build the workflows and agents that take the repeatable parts off your plate. The outcome is a business that stops depending on one person being available.
In practice that has covered LinkedIn and website content, AEO and SEO keyword work, social posting, article production, and the internal workflows nobody else was ever going to write down.
It also comes with the governance layer that larger organizations get: who owns what, where AI assistance ends and your accountability begins, and what a human checks before anything reaches a client. A solo business needs that as much as a company of two hundred, and almost nobody offers it at this size.
What does the solo-operator work cost?
Start small enough that starting is easy. Pricing for organizations with a leadership team is different, and it is here.
| Engagement | What you get | Price |
|---|---|---|
| AI Strategy Consultation | Thirty to sixty minutes. Where the bottleneck is, where AI belongs and where it does not, and a written action plan you keep whether or not we work together again. | $350 |
| Knowledge Asset Sprint | Capture, organize, and protect your expertise and wisdom. The business brain itself. | $2,500 |
| Custom skills, three | Built and wired to the systems you already run, including the workflows and automations around them. | $1,500–$3,000 |
| Custom skills, six | The same, at the scale where the week genuinely changes shape. | $3,000–$10,000 |
Ranges are ranges because scope decides them. Three skills touching one tool is not three skills touching five, and quoting otherwise would be guessing at your expense.
If you already know roughly what you want built, say so on the call and you will get a number rather than a proposal process.
Frequently asked questions
How can a small business actually use AI?
Start by capturing what already lives in the founder’s head, because that is the thing the business cannot run without. Voice and standards, decision frameworks, core processes. Once that is written down and organized, AI can work from it, so answers come back in your voice and to your standard rather than as the average of the internet.

How much does it cost to get AI working in a small business?
An AI strategy consultation is $350 for thirty to sixty minutes and produces a written action plan you keep. A Knowledge Asset Sprint is $2,500. Custom skills and connectors run $1,500 to $3,000 for three and $3,000 to $10,000 for six, scoped to the systems involved.
Is this the same thing you do for larger companies?
Same motion, different scale. In a company with a leadership team the constraint is the leadership team, and the work is measuring and developing those executives and managers. In a solo business the executive or manager is the whole organization, so capturing what they know and building the systems that run on it is the same work with one row on the org chart.

Get the plan first, then decide.
The $350 consultation ends with a written action plan you keep, whether or not anything else follows. That is the cheapest way to find out whether this is worth doing at all.

People who find this page are usually reading something that finally names a piece nobody had named for them. Every week or two I publish one more of those — where AI adoption is actually breaking down inside companies, built from the research and from what I see in real leadership teams.
No pitch, no sequence designed to wear you down. If it stops being useful, one click and you are out.
Would you rather start with a read on your own organization? The AI Adoption Gap Snapshot™ takes five minutes and covers all twelve domains.
